The Corporate Affairs Benchmark is a unique study that provides insight into how organizations have structured their public affairs and communications functions. The primary goal of the benchmark is to generate practical management information that helps organizations make informed decisions to strengthen their communications departments.

What does the Benchmark measure? The Benchmark examines, among other things:

  • The role and structure of Corporate Affairs departments
  • The management and shifting priorities within these departments
  • Budget allocation

Communications and Public Affairs directors, as well as communications managers, are periodically invited to participate in an online survey. This survey provides valuable information about the organization of communications and public affairs functions in the Netherlands. Moreover, organizations can use this information to compare themselves with the average ("the benchmark") or with similar organizations ("peers").

What are the options?

  • General report: An overview of the most important outcomes, including interpretation.
  • Benchmark with the average: Your situation is compared with the average, including tailored conclusions.
  • Benchmark with similar organizations: In addition to a comparison with the average, your organization is also compared with similar companies, such as by size, revenue or sector.

Customization for specific needs In addition to our standard benchmark approach, we offer the ability to fully customize it to meet specific needs. Whether you want to compare the performance of departments within your network or gain insights along with an exclusive group of similar organizations, our customized benchmarks are designed to meet your unique needs.
