Her interest in how policy is developed and the role politics plays in that process forms the common thread throughout her career. Thanks to her experience within the Dutch central government, she has a strong understanding of how decision-making works at local, national, and international levels, and how political developments translate into policy and implementation.

During the Financial Traineeship at the Dutch central government, Franca gained broad experience at the Ministry of Justice and Security, the Ministry of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. In this period, she worked on coordinating and drafting parliamentary letters and prepared parliamentary debates. She is comfortable in the dynamics of the political and administrative arena and understands the underlying forces shaping decision-making.

With a background in European Law, Franca has a solid legal foundation. She understands how (European) laws and regulations are developed and what impact they have on organizations and policy. She is able to quickly translate this legal knowledge into concrete policy and strategic implications. Franca enjoys making complex issues accessible and supporting organizations in policy advising and strategic advocacy efforts.
